 The
Horrible Histories Collection
In January 2003 a series of
Horrible Histories magazines were launched in the UK,
the Horrible Histories Collection. There were
80 magazines in the series and readers could buy one every
fortnight.
(NOTE: These magazines are SUBSCRIPTION ONLY ... they were released fortnightly and sent to readers who had paid in advance. They are NOT available in bookshops and you cannot buy past editions if you missed them.)
The magazines used some material
from the Horrible Histories books but presented it in
full colour. There were masses of new foul facts (and awful
old jokes, of course).
The magazines also came with
timeline charts and free Wild 'n Wicked cards. There was a range of Horrible Histories Collection products
you could buy too - t-shirts, baseball caps and even a Cool
School Bag . er, it's the bag that's cool, of course, not your school!
The magazines were a massive success in the UK and were then published

Latest news 2007
The publisher is looking at the possibility of releasing the complete magazine series again in the UK in 2008. Those who missed it first time around can catch up!
