DUNGEON RATS CLUB
TERMS
and CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHP
- By sending in the Rat form, you
accept what we say here (these Terms and Conditions, brainy!)
- You will be a Rat for one year
from the date noted on your Membership Card, which will be sent
to you within 2 weeks of your applying to become a Rat, and payment
of the annual fee.
- To become a Rat you must be 18
years of age, OR have the permission of your parent or guardian
to join.
- In the Year of your Rat membership,
you will receive the various items and benefits listed on the
lead page of THE CLUB HOUSE on the date of your being made a member
of the Dungeon Rats.
- The General Terms and Conditions
which apply to the HOUSE of BOOKs, if you want to buy a book etc.,
and THE HOUSE of CHAT, if you want to post a story or message,
apply to Rats as well as non-Rats. (These other Terms and Conditions
can be seen via those pages on the web site.)
- The price of membership of the
Dungeon Rats and the Offers, Benefits and Advantages to Rats will
only be changed with one month’s notice, signalled on the Web
Site. What you see on the CLUB HOUSE pages when you join, will
be what you get and at that price, UNLESS it says the price or
an Offer. Benefit is to change within one month on the site at
that time.
- IMPORTANT NOTICE: time limit
for notification of claims. If goods arrive in a damaged condition
or if you are dissatisfied with some element of the Rats service
(for example, non arrival of Christmas card) you must inform us
within 7 days of the event in question. Our Customer Services
Department will contact you to discuss and correct the matter.
IF YOU DO NOT DO THIS WE SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR GOODS or
SERVICES SAID TO BE DAMAGED ON DELIVERY or NOT DELIVERED.
- All prices for books on our website
and for our other services are VAT exempt at this time.
- You will only be a fully paid
up RAT once we have received payment in full, and then only for
12 months from the date indicated on your Membership Card and
in our Records.
- These terms + conditions do not
affect statutory rights
- The laws of England and Wales
shall govern the Contract between us and any dispute will be resolved
exclusively in the courts of England and Wales. We operate a complaints
handling procedure, which we will use to try to resolve disputes

subject to change at any time without prior notice to you upon
posting on the Website.

We are currently registered under
the UK's Data Protection Act and we are obligated to adhere to certain
guidelines that we want to and will follow. These state that personal
data shall:

that are described on the order form and / or in our Terms and Conditions
· Be used or disclosed only for
those or compatible purposes
· Be adequate, relevant and not
excessive in relation to the purpose for which they are held

for the purpose for which they are held
